Against all rational sense, Marvel is doing a Venom movie
According to The Big Picture, Marvel looks to be working on a feature film for every Hot Topic shopper’s favorite comic villain, Venom. Despite the fact that Spider-Man 3 was horrid (and made Spider-Man seem too much like geeky John Travolta) they’re going through this with. Why? I have no idea. The question is will they follow the Venom character sans Spider-Man, on his home planet, in the lab, or bastardize him further?
My money’s on George Steinbrenner hiring Venom to pitch for the Yankees. It’s the only way Marvel can go at this point without being too obvious.
