Martin Scorcese to direct Bob Marley documentary
Martin Scorcese seems to be aiming high when it comes to his musician documentaries. He’s already done a great job with Bob Dylan and The Rolling Stones, and now he turns his directorial ideas towards the Rastaman himself, Bob Marley. There’s really no information about the project (other than it’s tentatively penned for a release on February 6, 2010, which would be Marley’s 65th birthday), but given the nature of Bob Marley’s career and all of the stuff he did outside of music, I have no doubts that Scorcese is going to have quite a bit of material to go through.
The question now is who’s next for Scorcese? Hendrix? Sinatra? Weird Al?
