Christopher Lloyd goes Back to the Future of hip-hop
BTTF.com has gotten information that Christopher Lloyd is reprising his role as Doc Brown in an upcoming music video by O’Neal McKnight for his single “Check Your Coat.” McKnight–a huge BttF fan–wrote the song about him and Doc Brown heading to the future to scope out his future self and relationship with a girl he just met at a dance club.
While it’s not exactly Back to the Future 4, it is good news, because I could have sworn I heard Christopher Lloyd was dead. You know that commercial he had last year for Direct TV? The entire time I was going, “How did they do that? He’s not just dancing with vacuums, he’s talking!”
Outside of those now-not-nearly-as-impressive commercial appearances, the last time Lloyd played the role of Doc Brown was in the 1992 Back to the Future animated series. In other words, it’s been a while. There’s no word when this music video will air on TV, as I’m not entirely sure what god forsaken hour of the night MTV plays music videos at now.
To see some pictures of Doc Brown with a beard hanging out in the DeLorean with a rapper and check out a behind the scenes vid, hit the jump. Where you’re doing, you don’t need roads.
