This is actually the second time Filmplosion! has existed. The first time, it happened to be hosted on a friend’s server which happened to be taken down due to hosting several illegal websites. (No, one wasn’t this.) Basically, I tried to do too much, and once it all got deleted I said fuck it and let it die.

But I couldn’t let it die, could I? Movies are part of me, and while GamerNode gives me an outlet for gaming and the occasional DVD/Blu-ray review, it doesn’t let me do too much. Even as the editor-in-chief, my powers are limited. Do you know how hard it is to convince the board to let you post movie news on a site called GAMERnode? (Actually, it’s not too hard–I’d just feel bad if I did it.)

So now that I’ve explained the reason for this site’s existence, here’s a little about me. I’m in my 20s, I grew up in southern California then moved to Oregon for school and subsequently stayed in the Northwest, and my favorite Ninja Turtle is Michelangelo. If you were a Donatello fanboy, get off my website.
